Job summary

A leading energy company in Qatar is seeking an experienced Commissioning Coordinator to manage the safety and execution of commissioning tasks. The role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in oil & gas facilities, strong leadership and communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering. The successful candidate will coordinate Permit to Work tasks, maintain comprehensive reports, and oversee contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil & gas processing and production facilities.
• Experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent preferable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the Permit to Work and Job Safety Analysis.
• Maintain reports of permits and work tasks for project areas.
• Oversee contractor activities to ensure safe execution of work.
