Overview

Restaurant Server

Dining establishment. Web server must give excellent customer care and a satisfying eating experience for our guests. In this job, you will largely take orders from clients, note any unique requests or dietary constraints, and then deliver their food and beverages. You will also clear tables when clients are finished, process payments, and be responsible for maintaining the tidiness and overall appearance of the restaurant. You should resolve any complaint to the best of your ability, or appropriately escalate to your manager. You will aid the Host/Cashier with any obligations related to third‑party delivery when required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and address concerns regarding the menu
• Describe daily specials and take food and beverage orders
• Enter orders and provide food and drinks to customers
• Process checks and payments
• Aid in clearing the table for the next customer; perform full side work as required
• Seat guests for dine‑in
• Cross‑sell items and introduce new ones
• Handle customer issues, direct them, and provide appropriate information
• Welcome customers when entering or leaving the store
• Liquidate the till and balance all payments at the end of shift
• Maintain tidiness and overall appearance of the dining area
