Job Summary
The Senior Visual Merchandiser takes ownership and implements tasks which guarantee the image of each boutique/store through supporting an active selling culture by ensuring that visuals are set and maintained to the Visual Merchandising Guide (VMG). The Senior Visual Merchandiser is an expert in visual standards, which includes specific merchandising techniques, fixture blocking, lighting, and the implementation of all In Store Marketing (ISM) elements such as mannequins, navigational signs and all Coordinated Store Environment (CSE) signs that support events, seasons, holidays and in store promotions.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising strategies by creating and maintaining visual displays on the sales floor and on the windows displays as per the guidelines.
- Communicate with the franchise brands for the guidelines of their collections and execute it in the stores for each season or when required.
- Provide comprehensive training to in-store teams on the guidelines of each brand.
- Plan the launch of collections including merchandise delivery, window changes, in-store décor, and in-store marketing.
- Contribute to the advertising, marketing, and sales efforts of the store by designing, developing, and taking charge of the visual look of the store and its merchandise.
- Lead the development and execution of visual merchandising strategies to enhance the aesthetic appeal and customer experience.
- Supervise and mentor junior visual merchandisers, providing guidance and support in executing displays and layouts.
- Collaborate with store managers and marketing teams to align visual merchandising efforts with promotional campaigns and seasonal themes.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards, guidelines, and visual merchandising principles across all retail locations.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to assess the effectiveness of visual merchandising displays and make recommendations for improvement.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth understanding of visual merchandising principles, including layout design, product placement, and signage strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee visual merchandising teams and drive cohesive execution.
- Excellent creativity and aesthetic sense to develop visually appealing displays that resonate with target customers.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to liaise with store managers, marketing teams, and vendors.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate sales performance metrics and customer feedback, informing strategic adjustments to visual merchandising strategies.
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
- Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year(s) GCC is a plus
