Qualifications

• Western medical qualification recognized internationally
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in trauma surgery
• Valid medical license/registration from home country or eligibility for licensing in Qatar
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to high standards of patient care, patient safety, and clinical excellence

Responsibilities

• Provide care for all patients admitted under his name and make clinical decisions for others under supervision
• Oversee a team of consultants and junior doctors, with oversight responsibility for staff
• Collaborate with department chair/section head on service development, funding, budgets, and staffing
• Involve in teaching and training of junior doctors and medical students
• Define academic and research priorities within the department
