Job summary

nebras energy in Doha seeks a Technology Senior Expert - CCGT Assets to lead, optimize, and oversee the asset portfolio. You will implement advanced technologies and strategic management practices to boost efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and maximize profitability aligned with sustainability goals.

Responsibilities include directing day-to-day operations, developing technical strategies, supervising maintenance, and building strong relationships with regulators and industry partners

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in asset management or similar roles within large corporate structures.
• At least 4 years in progressively responsible managerial positions.
• English proficiency is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of power, energy, and water sectors.
• Knowledge of Qatar and GCC business culture and operating environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day CCGT asset operations with high reliability and efficiency.
• Develop and execute technical strategies to maximize asset output.
• Supervise maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards and environmental practices.
• Foster relationships with regulators, government bodies, industry leaders, and technology providers.
• Conduct root cause analysis on performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
• Translate divisional strategies into sectional plans, budgets, and monitor financial performance.
• Lead talent development and performance management within the team.
