Job summary

Doha British School – Ain Khaled Campus seeks a skilled SEN Coordinator to lead policy development, coordinate SEN provision, and support pupils with diverse needs. You will work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to foster inclusive teaching and ensure progress.

The role requires strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum, extensive SEN experience, and dedication to holistic education in a leading international school in Doha.

Qualifications

• recognised educational degree (B.Ed or equivalent).
• PGCE or QTS with Early Career Teaching Certificate.
• Extensive experience with the National Curriculum of England.
• Experience teaching IGCSE, AS/A Level, and IB (preferred).
• Support for SEN policy development and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEN policy development and provide guidance to staff and parents.
• Coordinate SEN provision and day‑to‑day SEN operations.
• Ensure progression of pupils within cohorts through effective teaching strategies.
• Contribute to wider school community through extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with other agencies to support pupils with SEN or disabilities.
