Job summary

A major national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of operational safety experience in the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical industry. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, monitoring compliance with safety standards, and participating in incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years experience in operational safety, preferably in Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Industry.
• Competent in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in the Arabian Gulf is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
• Conduct daily site inspections and audits.
• Participate in incident investigations and report findings.
