Job summary

QatarEnergy in Doha is seeking an experienced Incident Analyst to implement and continually improve the Mesaieed Operations Incident Management system, by investigating, following up and closing incidents to ensure compliance with KPIs.

The role requires a B.Sc. in engineering, eight years in oil and petrochemical industries with 3–5 years as an Incident/Accident Analyst, strong data analysis and reporting skills, and proficiency with dashboard development, preferably Power BI.

Qualifications

• Formal training in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• 8 years in oil and petrochemical industry, incl. 3–5 years as an Incident/Accident Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of process designs, operations, regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in dashboard development; Power BI preferred.
• Excellent data visualization and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continually improve the Mesaieed Operations Incident Management system.
• Analyze incident data to identify trends, root causes and systemic weaknesses and drive preventive measures.
• Conduct field inspections, risk assessments, and prepare proposals and reports.
