Job summary

COOEC in Doha, Qatar seeks a senior engineer who leads control discipline cost, quality and engineering progress, and supports procurement activities. You will develop implementation strategy, execution plan, interface management, and report to the COOEC counterpart and PMT.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost control and procurement within large engineering projects.
• Knowledge of FEED design principles and change management processes.
• Familiarity with standards, codes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cost controlling and optimization suggestions to save project cost.
• Review and assess changes against FEED design and ensure compliance.
• Track discipline progress including 3D models and deliverables; report if progress exceeds thresholds.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to resolve deliverables bottlenecks.
• Review procurement-related documents (MRs, TBEs, specs, data sheets); participate in FAT and close out comments.
