Senior Petroleum Engineer

We are a leading oil and gas company based in Ar-Ruwais, seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Petroleum Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize oil and gas production for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting reservoir simulations to determine the most efficient extraction methods for different oil and gas fields
• Designing and implementing drilling plans based on geological data and reservoir characteristics
• Analyzing well performance and making recommendations for improvements
• Monitoring production levels and implementing measures to maximize output
• Collaborating with other engineers, geologists, and technicians to ensure smooth operations and problem-solving when issues arise
• Staying up-to-date with industry advancements and implementing new technologies as appropriate

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in a senior or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles, drilling techniques, and production optimization strategies
• Experience with various software programs such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this full-time position.
