Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Qatar is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the construction and pre-commissioning phases of various projects. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, ideally in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas sectors. Responsibilities include supervising contractors, preparing safety analyses, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The position demands strong planning skills and proficiency in English. This role offers a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in instrumentation and wiring in Operating plants (Petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Fertiliser).
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Experience in establishment of mechanical data sheets.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating construction phases of projects.
  • Review modification approval drawings/documents.
  • Liaises with departments for materials and procurement.
  • Preparation of inspection test plans and safety analysis.
  • Supervise piping pre-fabrication and erection works.
