Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Ras Laffan, Qatar, seeks a mid-level Mechanical Inspector to perform welding, mechanical and piping inspections in line with offshore standards. You will execute ITPs for mechanical and welding activities and verify materials, consumables, and equipment against approved specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• CSWIP Welding Inspector or Senior Welding Inspector certification.
• 7–10 years QA/QC inspection experience with at least 5 offshore.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of welding, mechanical systems, and piping in compliance with offshore standards.
• Execute Inspection & Test Plans for mechanical and welding activities.
• Verify materials, consumables, and equipment against approved specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.
• Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and monitor corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, welding records, material certificates, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety and quality standards.
• Liaise with project managers, QA/QC teams, and subcontractors to resolve inspection issues.
