Job summary

GHD is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join a major Buildings and Infrastructure project. The role requires leading land/field surveys, preparing sketches, and maintaining survey data on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of relevant experience including Middle East exposure, and strong English communication skills. This position emphasizes health and safety and close collaboration with site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Minimum 5 years’ Middle East experience.
• Knowledge of CAD/survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
• Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
• Complete surveying requirements on schedule and within budgets.
• Check setting-out, levels, and service locations.
• Prepare sketches to support field work and maintain survey records.
• Verify control points and benchmarks; record final levels of works.
