Job description

A high-end luxury company in Doha, Qatar is looking for a senior interior designer who will use creativity to turn interior spaces into well-designed and functional properties.

The role will outline client objectives, visualise and sketch design plans, develop mood boards to showcase vision, select furniture, materials, décor, and finishes, conduct site visits for design and utilise design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, 3DS Max). Collaborate with an accomplished interior design team to develop solutions, coordinate with draughtsmen to produce accurate drawings, and prepare design quotations and contracts. This interesting role will report into a Head of Design Director.

Further requirements will be to generate original and creative interior design solutions across diverse projects, resolving implementation challenges with alternative approaches, balancing aesthetics, functionality, durability, and budgets. Driving innovation through sustainable and modern practices, elevating outcomes with technical expertise, ensuring alignment with client vision and brand identity whilst building trust through strong presentations and problem-solving.

The ideal applicant will hold a bachelor’s or masters degree in architecture or interior design with at least 7 years of proven experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. A strong portfolio across commercial, residential, and hospitality projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office. Be well-versed in local and international design standards, codes, and regulations. It is essential you are a native Arabic speaker and ideally are based in Qatar, although our client will consider applicants who are looking to relocate to Qatar.
