Job summary

Client of Brunel is seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to oversee project commissioning for offshore oil and gas facilities. The role focuses on planning, execution, and documentation to ensure smooth handover and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has extensive commissioning experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple project teams and asset holders across stages of engineering, construction and start-up.

Qualifications

• Sc. in an Engineering Discipline with extensive experience in commissioning of oil and gas projects.
• Minimum twelve (12) years' experience in design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of oil & gas processing plants.
• Offshore EPIC contracting environment experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and managerial capabilities; ability to lead teams under pressure.

Responsibilities

• To manage the preparation of project specific pre-commissioning procedures and reporting tools.
• To manage the execution of commissioning to achieve maximum productivity, minimize cost and smooth handover.
• To supervise reporting of commissioning execution for regulatory and contractual records.
• To supervise the commissioning schedule to meet planned end dates.
• To coordinate with other project entities and existing facilities.
