Qualifications:
  • Completion of Secondary School education.
  • 3 years experience as a technician in the Oil & Gas industry or petrochemical industry.
  • Computer literate with basic knowledge in MS Office software.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Extensive experience in the operation, maintenance, and calibration/testing of process control systems including Field, Panel, DCS, PLC instruments, vibration measurement, Fire and Gas, and ESD systems.
  • Valve (Control/ON-OFF/Emergency-Shutdown) stroking or calibration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings (P&ID) and documents.
  • Good adaptability to a multinational environment with exposure to various cultures and customs.
  • Experience working in H2S environment.
Task Description:
  • Participates in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation, and start-up of new equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance work on field instruments as directed, following safe work practices.
  • Ensure material and spare parts are available and in good condition before maintenance activities.
  • Follow applicable maintenance procedures and maintain a safe workplace.
  • Provide accurate records and reports of all completed work as per company requirements.
  • Participate in troubleshooting of instrumentation field issues and report timely.
  • Review relevant diagrams, drawings, and documents related to field instrumentation.
  • Use calibrated and certified tools suitable for the job, ensuring requirements for Intrinsic Safety (IS) are met.
  • Participate in regular toolbox meetings, report near misses, incidents, and accidents.
