Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Economics, Health Informatics, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of health data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Use statistical methods and data visualization tools to generate actionable insights.
• Design and develop health reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure data management policies regarding protection and data security are followed.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key health indicators.
• Oversee management of health information systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance health data infrastructure.
• Develop strategies for integrating data from multiple sources to create a unified health information database.
• Establish and maintain data governance standards for consistency.
• Work with healthcare providers, public health officials, and agencies to understand data needs.
• Collaborate with partners to align analytics with strategic goals.
• Implement quality assurance to validate accuracy and reliability of health data.
• Conduct regular audits to address data discrepancies.
• Support development and evaluation of health policies and programs.
• Generate evidence-based recommendations for decision-makers.
• Develop training programs for staff involved in health data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
• Keep current with technical data and reporting skills.
• Perform other duties as required.
