Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to join its Production Optimization team within the Digital Consulting business unit.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectations, the position will be based full-time at our office in Doha, Qatar.

The Role

This role involves managing key projects, developing technical proficiency within the company, assisting in new opportunities, and interfacing with key clients. You should have a solid technical background and be comfortable being a primary point of contact with senior clients and specialists.

You will primarily manage complete Flow Assurance projects and studies, supervising a team of engineers to deliver the required outcomes. Excellent interpersonal skills and management experience are essential.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in flow assurance or process disciplines in Oil and Gas.
• Recognized qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (Master’s in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering preferred).
• Extensive industry experience demonstrating equivalent expertise if formal qualifications are not met.
• Significant flow assurance and process experience in the Oil and Gas industry with a strong technical background.
• Proven track record managing process and flow assurance projects and studies.
• Experience coaching junior engineers in flow assurance and process disciplines.
• Extensive experience with flow assurance software such as OLGA, Pipesim, Multi-flash, Leda Flow.
• Working knowledge of process engineering and simulation tools like Hysys and/or Unisim.
• Good understanding of HAZOP, process safety, and risk assessment.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with client representatives, understand client needs, advise on technical solutions, and build strong relations.
