Job summary

ASMACS RECRUITMENT SERVICE WLL-QATAR is seeking an experienced Finishing Carpenter for a full-time on-site role in Qatar. The candidate will perform high-quality interior finishing, joinery and installation works in commercial and luxury settings.

The role requires 6+ years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to read carpentry drawings. You will work with hand and power tools, ensuring precise fitting and safe, clean work areas.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in finishing carpentry or joinery.
• Proven experience in interior finishing and high quality carpentry works.
• Strong knowledge of wood, plywood, MDF, laminates and veneers.
• Ability to read and understand carpentry drawings and measurements.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.
• Good attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physically fit for extended periods.
• Experience in commercial buildings, hotels, villas or luxury interiors is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out finishing carpentry and joinery works for doors, frames, cabinets, wardrobes, wall panels and partitions.
• Perform precise cutting, shaping, fitting, sanding and finishing of wood materials.
• Install and adjust doors, frames, skirting, architraves, mouldings and decorative woodwork.
• Install cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, counters and other furniture.
• Polish, touch-up, repairs and finishing work to high quality appearance.
• Read and interpret carpentry drawings and specifications.
