Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst leads continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency in financial processes, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, analyzing annual budgets, and supporting external and internal financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The position collaborates with executive management to streamline accounting processes, provide insights, and respond to management inquiries regarding financial performance.

Key Accountabilities
  • Prepare guidelines and instructions for the period-end closing cycle.
  • Manage the period-end closing cycle effectively and timely, including:
    • Expenses, Accounts Payable, and other creditors.
    • Revenues, Accounts Receivable, and other debtors.
  • Ensure timely preparation of periodic financial statements for management.
  • Perform financial statement analysis to build a clear understanding of financial results.
  • Prepare annual budgets with analysis and explanations, in coordination with related departments.
  • Develop financial presentations and slides for board meetings, and present annual budgets to the board.
  • Ensure proper accounting treatment for transactions related to:
    • Fixed Assets
    • Investment Properties
    • Financial Instruments
  • Coordinate with external auditors by providing audit requirements, reconciliations, and accurate schedules.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and verified in a timely manner to support decision-making and financial stability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
