Job summary

Work corp in Doha, Qatar is seeking an Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will operate excavators and related heavy machinery with precision, ensuring safety regulations are followed and targets are met.

You must hold a valid license to operate heavy machinery, have at least 3 years of excavation experience, and be able to perform trenching, loading, and site preparation. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent physical strength and stamina
• Valid license to operate heavy machinery
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to excavation works
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Extensive experience in excavation work (minimum 3 years)
• Knowledge of basic hand tools used in excavation work like shovels or rakes
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, cranes and masonry saws

Responsibilities

• Digging trenches
• Backfilling
• Loading and unloading materials
• Clearing debris
• Transporting materials
• Grading roads
• Preparing sites for construction
• Removing stumps
• Moving large objects such as rocks or logs
• Cutting trees and branches with chainsaws
• Cleaning up after projects have been completed
• Using hand tools such as shovels or rakes when necessary
• Familiarity with other equipment used in excavation work such as bulldozers, cranes and masonry saws
