Job summary

A leading energy company in Qatar seeks a candidate to manage the development and maintenance of engineering standards and codes for Onshore/Offshore facilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong background in standardization management. An engineering degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering is required. This role involves the implementation of quality assurance systems and ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years’ experience in oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
• 5 years in a supervisory role managing a team.
• Conversant with sourcing, contracting and subscribing to standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and maintenance of engineering standards and codes.
• Implement Quality Assurance and related Management Systems.
• Lead activities to establish access to engineering standards.
