Job summary

BrightPath Engineering in Doha seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop and maintain electrical systems for diverse structures and facilities on a contract basis.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of hands-on experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software and strong safety knowledge. Salary includes accommodation and a monthly gross pay of $1,200.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Experience designing electrical systems for buildings, roads or bridges.
• Strong knowledge of local safety codes and regulations.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designing electrical systems for new construction projects
• Conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed projects
• Collaborating with architects, contractors and other engineers to ensure electrical systems are integrated into building plans
• Selecting appropriate materials and equipment for each project based on budgetary constraints
• Performing quality control checks on construction sites to ensure compliance with design plans
• Troubleshooting issues with existing electrical systems and providing solutions
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
