Job summary

RTX is seeking an Early Warning Radar Operator Maintainer for a long-term onsite assignment in the United States. This role requires managing radar operations, scheduling maintenance, and providing technical guidance to foreign military personnel.

The position requires 5 years of RF equipment experience, a DoD Secret clearance, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Onsite work and 12-hour shifts are standard, with comprehensive RTX benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in test, integration, maintenance, alignment, calibration, and operation of RF equipment associated with EWR systems.
• Experience in establishing and assessing performance of complex RF systems including monitoring, troubleshooting, isolating failures and replacing components.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience or 3 years with advanced degree; US citizenship & security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Qatar’s Early Warning Radar (EWR) system or equivalent, PC-based platform.
• Support engineering, logistics, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure optimal system performance.
• Document, develop, and implement solutions with Systems and Software Engineers.
