Job summary

PPOAR in Doha seeks an experienced Crane Operator to safely operate heavy cranes and related equipment on site. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and proficient inspection and maintenance of equipment.

You will plan operations, load and unload materials, read engineering plans, set up rigging, and perform daily safety checks. The candidate should have 5+ years of crane operation experience in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating heavy machinery.
• Excellent knowledge of crane operation principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy cranes and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect and maintain cranes and report deficiencies or problems.
• Plan operations and load/unload materials; read engineering plans and blueprints.
• Set up rigging equipment (blocks, hoists, tackles, pulleys) per instructions.
• Perform daily safety checks and ensure compliance with safety rules.
