Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Construction Supervisor (Civil) in Qatar for oil & gas projects. The role centers on supervising contractor activities to ensure work is safe, compliant with design, and aligned with the approved scope.

It requires extensive construction experience and strong management skills. The incumbent will provide technical services across detailed design and execution, review method statements and commissioning procedures, manage permits, and support handover and commissioning

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline or Diploma with extensive construction experience.
• HSE qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction works by contractors to ensure projects meet scope, design, QHSE standards and specifications.
• Review and comment on method statements, material submittals, and commissioning procedures from start to handover.
• Perform as the issuing authority for Permit to Work by Contractors and ensure safety compliance on site.
• Coordinate mobilisations, site lay-downs, permits, gate passes and pre-commissioning inspections.
