Job summary

Black & Grey HR is recruiting on behalf of a leading technology solutions provider in Doha, Qatar, for a Systems Engineer specializing in CCTV infrastructure and HCI. You will design, implement, maintain, and optimize surveillance systems, ensure high availability, and integrate cloud to support secure video storage across venues.

The role requires 5+ years in IT infrastructure with CCTV or video systems, Hyper-V/VMware, storage, and strong security and compliance awareness in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years focused on surveillance or video systems and HCI.
• Proven track record in deploying and troubleshooting high-availability environments in enterprise settings.
• Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment, including on-call rotations for critical system support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day CCTV infrastructure operations for continuous surveillance and data access.
• Perform health checks, updates, and patching on CCTV servers and storage systems.
• Monitor system performance using tools like Windows Performance Monitor and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures, network latency, and VMS integration issues.
• Design, deploy, and maintain HCI clusters supporting CCTV and core venue services.
• Configure virtualization platforms for scalable workloads and optimize resources.
• Ensure high availability and rapid failover for mission-critical systems.
• Design and maintain WSFC-based failover for SQL databases and disaster recovery plans.
