Job summary

ConFlip in Doha, Qatar is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The role requires at least five years of carpentry experience, accuracy in measuring and reading blueprints, and a safety‑minded approach to all tasks.

You will measure, cut, assemble frames and furniture, install fixtures and stairs, and finish surfaces with care. Work with saws, drills and routers; lift up to 23 kg; and be prepared for flexible weekends or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of carpentry experience or related field.
• Proven skill with woodworking tools (saws, drills, routers).
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk, and gauge.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring instruments.
• Construct building frameworks including walls, floor joists, and doorframes.
• Install structures or fixtures such as windowsills, doorframes, cabinets, or stairs.
• Shape or cut materials according to measurements.
• Assemble cabinets or furniture pieces prior to installation.
• Nail down floor coverings such as linoleum onto subfloors using a power nailer or hammer.
