Job summary

Qualifications

• 15+ years in investor relations or related capital markets roles.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Issuer Services and Investor Relations unit, including its operating model, service portfolio, governance framework, and commercial strategy.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, setting priorities, performance standards, and delivery expectations.
• Design and deliver market education programs, executive briefings, training, and practical guidance on investor relations, disclosure, governance, and sustainability reporting.
• Advise listed and prospective issuers on investor relations strategy, shareholder engagement, disclosure practices, sustainability reporting and investor targeting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, institutional investors, analysts, and key capital market stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives that enhance market quality, liquidity, research coverage, investor access, and the overall attractiveness of Qatar's capital market.
• Represent Qatar Stock Exchange at industry events, roadshows, and investor forums while collaborating with regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure governance and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor market trends, benchmark issuer practices and provide strategic recommendations to improve investor relations standards across the market.

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) is the principal securities market of the State of Qatar. Job Summary

The Head of Issuer Services and Investor Relations is responsible for establishing and leading a dedicated unit within Qatar Stock Exchange focused on raising the quality of issuer services and investor relations across the Qatari market. This position reports to the Chief Commercial & Investment Officer. The role carries a clear mandate to set up the function from the ground up covering its operating model, service catalogue, standards, delivery team and commercial positioning and then to lead and scale it into a recognized center of expertise for listed and prospective issuers.

The Head of Issuer Services and Investor Relations acts as the exchange's senior authority on disclosure practice, shareholder communication, investor targeting and sustainability reporting, and works directly with the leadership of listed companies to lift the standard of engagement between Qatari issuers and the domestic and international investment community. Education and awareness sit at the center of the mandate, with the Head expected to build lasting capability across the market rather than deliver one off support. The role also leads a wider set of issuer facing initiatives designed to deepen liquidity, broaden the investor base and strengthen the overall attractiveness of the QSE market, working in close coordination with the Listings, Product and Market Development, and Marketing and Communications teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master's degree or CFA preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in investor relations, equity capital markets, listed companies, investment banking, or a related capital markets environment.
• Proven experience building or leading teams and developing new functions or capabilities.
• Strong expertise in corporate disclosure, governance, investor relations, and capital markets regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver executive-level training, education, and stakeholder engagement programs.
• Established relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and senior corporate executives.
• Experience within a stock exchange, listed company, investment bank, or investor relations advisory firm is highly desirable.
• Experience in GCC/MENA capital markets and knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks is an advantage.
