Job summary

JobLeader in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Accountant responsible for all accounting activities across the business. The role requires strong numeracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will manage financial records, prepare statements, and liaise with auditors to ensure regulatory compliance while contributing to ongoing process improvements. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role is required.
• Strong knowledge of finance principles and accounting best practices.
• Excellent numerical skills with the ability to analyze data quickly and accurately.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel & Word) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable, inventory levels, and other financial activities.
• Ensure that all taxes are paid accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
• Develop new policies and procedures to improve accounting efficiency.
