Job summary

EventMakers Entertainment in Doha, Qatar seeks a Senior Accountant to supervise financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This full-time role reports to the finance team and requires strong attention to detail and English communication.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing payables/receivables, payroll, audits support, and policy development. Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of experience are required; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail with high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Review balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee payroll processing and tax filings.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Mentor junior accounting staff.
