Job summary

Confidential Government Entity in Qatar is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and business partnering across the organization.

Ideal candidates are 6–12+ years in accounting, with a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and professional qualifications (CPA/ACCA/CMA/CA). Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage. The role offers strategic impact and opportunities to contribute to Qatar's economic growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Professional qualifications (CPA/ACCA/CMA/CA) preferred.
• 6–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in large corporates, government entities, or diversified groups is advantageous.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow and overall financial performance; identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Support audits and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
• Lead process improvements and strengthen financial governance.
• Mentor finance team members as required.
