Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and collections, and the ability to support strategic financial decision-making. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, and managing efficient cash flow operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with company strategy.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance and trend analyses.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and scenario modeling to support business planning.
  • Track and analyze key metrics and KPIs to advise management on financial performance.
  • Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections and reducing overdue balances.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve collection workflows.
  • Prepare and manage cash flow projections and support treasury-related activities.
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on cost optimization, risk assessment, and financial strategy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters, CPA, ACCA, or CMA will be an added advantage).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on financial planning and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Hands-on experience in collection management and accounts receivable follow-up.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
