Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities of our company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also be expected to provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants, as well as work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, inventory management, and revenue recognition
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities with department heads
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Identify areas for cost reduction and provide recommendations for improvement
• Mentor junior accountants by providing training and guidance on accounting principles
• Liaise with external auditors during yearly audits

Requirements

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
