Responsibilities

• Craft individualised learning journeys: Design, advise on and implement differentiated instruction customised to each SEND student’s unique needs and strengths.
• Embrace research and innovative solutions: Utilise a variety of teaching methods, assistive technologies, and collaborative strategies to engage students and optimise learning. Engage in research and PD to best position you to support SEND learners.
• Foster a nurturing environment: Create a safe and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to participate.
• Collaborate with a purpose: Work closely with other teachers, specialists, leadership and families to ensure seamless support, reporting, tracking and progress for each student. Work with all parties to identify pupils who may be unrecognised SEND.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher with experience in SEND education (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa)
• 2+ years of experience teaching SEND
• Experience in western schools and/or western curriculum international schools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Cultural sensitivity and a spirit of adaptability
