Security Manager Vacancy – Umm-Salal, Qatar

Overview

Position: Security Manager. Role reports to the Property Defense Manager. Location: Umm-Salal, Qatar. Employment type: Full-time. Salary: From QAR 4,000 per month.

Responsibilities
  • Reports to Property Defense Manager.
  • Performs examination of occurrences and situations described by the division.
  • Carries out CCTV monitoring (live and random review of recordings).
  • Conducts positioning of newly-hired cashier/drug store assistants, and pharmacist when requested by Kulud Administration.
  • Sends reports of investigations and incidents to the correct authority and to the concerned department manager.
  • Conducts surprise branch visits and cash counts.
  • Supervises projects such as CCTV installation, GPS setups, and smoke alarm maintenance evaluations by contractors.
  • Maintains CCTV systems regularly; visits pharmacy branches to address CCTV concerns and keeps logs of maintenance problems.
  • Manages security personnel for designated facilities, including IMC Shop and Kulud Store.
  • Checks CCTV recordings for missing check-ins/outs of teams upon demand.
  • Handles division admin requests and maintains workplace devices and facilities.
  • Carries out other duties as directed by the CEO, DCEO, and APM.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally related to IT or electrical disciplines.
  • Qatar driver’s license, ideally with a vehicle.
  • 4–5 years of experience in property protection/loss prevention within a retail environment.
  • Substantial knowledge of CCTV procedures, preventive maintenance, and system setup.
  • Experienced detective with strong investigatory skills; formal investigation training is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, preferably in English.
  • Strong teamwork ability and versatility to adapt to a fast-changing workplace and situations.
  • Experience in incident management and security/safety management is preferred.
