Job summary

PrestigeArch Luxembourg is seeking an experienced Mason for our Al-Rayyan, Qatar project. You will construct and repair walls, floors, and foundations using brick, concrete, and stone while following blueprints and plans.

Responsibilities include reading plans, measuring lines, mixing mortar, laying masonry units, and finishing surfaces. Visa sponsorship and airfare are provided for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason.
• Ability to read blueprints and building plans.
• Knowledge of mixing ratios for mortar and grout.
• Familiarity with different types of masonry materials.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine the layout and specifications of structures
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, chalk lines or marking gauges
• Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
• Lay bricks or other masonry units to build walls, arches or other structures
• Cut or saw bricks to fit into corners or around obstacles using hand tools, power tools or masonry saws
• Repair cracks or other damage in existing masonry work by filling them with mortar or grout
• Clean excess mortar from surfaces of bricks using sponges or trowels
