Job summary

Aspetar سبيتار in Doha is seeking an experienced risk and compliance professional to support enterprise risk management and business continuity activities. The role focuses on risk analysis, reporting, and maintaining departmental continuity plans aligned with organizational objectives.

You will analyze data from risk registers, incidents, and audits; identify trends; develop dashboards; coordinate plan updates; and assist in governance documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health science or business management or related field.
• Professional certifications in risk and compliance are a big plus.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Supports enterprise risk management and business continuity activities by providing risk analysis, risk reporting, and ongoing maintenance, testing, and enhancement of departmental business continuity plans. Role contributes to ensuring that risks and continuity arrangements remain effective, current, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Job Responsibilities: - (Including but not limited to):

• Analyze data from departmental risk registers, incidents, complaints, audits, and reviews.
• Identify trends, emerging risks, and systemic issues for escalation to the Head of Risk and Compliance.
• Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of organizational risk dashboards and reports.
• Support the periodic review and enhancement of departmental business continuity plans to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with departments to update business continuity plans based on organizational, operational, or risk changes.
• Support the planning, coordination, and documentation of business continuity testing and exercises.
• Assist in analyzing outcomes of business continuity tests and identifying improvement actions.
• Maintain records, versions, and testing evidence related to business continuity plans.
• Participate in enterprise and departmental risk assessments as required.
• Support governance documentation, risk records, and reporting standards.
• Assist in tracking actions arising from risk reviews, continuity testing, and assurance activities.
• Assume or accept any other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor within the position role and responsibility.

Job Specific Skills: -

Bachelor’s degree in health science or business management or another related field. Professional certifications and qualification in risk and compliance are a big plus. Demonstrated commitment to excellence and to the improvement of processes/ workflows and inter-departmental relationships in earlier roles.

Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in which 2 years should be in a similar position / responsibility in the healthcare industry. Ability to prioritize tasks, activities and resources to ensure efficient operations of the office. Demonstrates ability to monitor and review plans to ensure efficiency. Excellent communication (written, oral, presentation), and time management skills. Ability to build positive and productive working relationships. Enjoy interacting with a variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Organized with strong administrative and numeracy skills. Literate in MS Office applications and project management software. Competence in MS Office with excellent presentation skills. Fluency in English and Arabic.
