Job summary

PPOAR is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our Al-Rayyan, Qatar store. You will welcome customers, understand their needs, demonstrate product knowledge and help guide purchase decisions.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience, strong English communication, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Salary is 1800 USD per month plus commissions. Open to all nationalities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail sales experience with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their needs and preferences.
• Provide product knowledge to customers and assist them in making purchase decisions.
• Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, restocking shelves and displays as needed.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Upsell products and services to increase sales revenue.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving, restocking, and recording stock levels.
