Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a carpenter for residential construction in Al-Khor, Qatar. The role involves constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing wooden structures on-site according to blueprints and plans.

You will measure, cut, fit windows/doors, and finish surfaces, with emphasis on safety and accuracy. The candidate will work on residential projects, reading plans, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction.
• Able to read blueprints and building plans.
• Knowledge of wood properties and carpentry materials.
• Familiar with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Physically fit and able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints and plans to determine materials and dimensions.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials as specified.
• Follow safety protocols when using tools and machinery.
• Install windows, doors, and staircases with accurate measurements.
• Build or repair cabinets, tables, bookshelves, and other wood structures.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy per blueprint specs.
• Clean up job site after project completion.
