Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Resident Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies and working knowledge of F5 load balancers. The role requires on-site presence to manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cisco-Focused Responsibilities (Primary)
    • Configure, monitor, and support Cisco network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
    • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for LAN, WAN, and wireless network issues.
    • Implement VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and network segmentation.
    • Manage and support Cisco IOS/IOS-XE device upgrades and patches.
    • Monitor network performance, availability, and security events.
    • Support Cisco security solutions such as ACLs, VPNs, and firewall rule management.
    • Perform network changes, maintenance activities, and documentation updates.
  • F5 Responsibilities (Secondary)
    • Monitor and manage F5 BIG-IP load balancers.
    • Perform basic configuration and health checks of virtual servers, pools, and nodes.
    • Support SSL certificate updates and basic troubleshooting of F5 services.
    • Assist with F5 firmware upgrades under guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and network security.
  • Working knowledge of F5 BIG‑IP or similar load balancing technologies.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to work independently in an on‑site environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
  • CCNA / CCNP (preferred)
  • F5 certification (optional, nice to have)
