Job summary

An international energy company in Qatar is seeking an Area Operator to oversee and monitor the condensate refinery process units, including CDU, Hydrotreaters, and CCR Platformer. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in refinery operations, with strong technical skills and safety awareness. Responsibilities include maintaining operational integrity, ensuring efficient production, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 - 10 years of hands-on experience in refinery operations.
• Experience in operating and troubleshooting process equipment.
• Knowledge of safety systems including HAZOP, LOTO, PTW.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor assigned process units in the refinery.
• Maintain operational integrity and respond to process deviations.
• Support achievement of production targets while adhering to safety standards.

Skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)

High level of safety awareness

Ability to work under pressure

Willingness to work in rotating shifts
