Position : Recruitment Specialist

Department : Human Resources

Location : Doha / Ras Laffan

Job Summary

Responsible for planning and executing recruitment activities to source, select, and hire the best talent in line with workforce requirements. Oversees recruitment operations, guides the team, and ensures staffing needs are met efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement recruitment strategies, hiring plans, and budgets.
  2. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, CV screening, interviews, assessments, and offers.
  3. Conduct sourcing campaigns locally and internationally, including career fairs and recruitment drives.
  4. Build strong relationships with hiring managers, recruitment agencies, and external partners.
  5. Act as an employer brand ambassador at events to attract talent.
  6. Monitor recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, agency performance) and recommend improvements.
  7. Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, labor laws, and QHSE standards.
  8. Lead and mentor the recruitment team, define KPIs / SLAs, and drive continuous improvement.
  9. Support national development initiatives by actively recruiting Qatari talent.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field (HR certifications preferred).
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
  • Proven experience managing a recruitment team and handling high-volume, multi-disciplinary hiring.
  • Industry exposure in Marine, Oil & Gas, or Construction preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office, ATS, and social media recruitment.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English and Arabic required.
