Job summary

Myn in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Radiographer to join its Radiology department. The role involves delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities in a modern private healthcare environment.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and QCHP-eligible Radiographer to join its Radiology department in Doha. This is an excellent opportunity for a diagnostic imaging professional to work within a modern, well-resourced private healthcare setting, delivering high-quality patient care across a range of imaging modalities as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including general (plain film) radiography, in line with departmental protocols and radiation safety standards. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including [CR/DR, fluoroscopy, mobile X-ray, CT and/or MRI as applicable], ensuring correct technique and image quality. Position patients accurately for imaging while ensuring comfort, dignity and safety, including for paediatric, elderly and immobile patients. Apply ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles and adhere to radiation protection and dosimetry protocols at all times. Verify patient identity, imaging requests and clinical history prior to each procedure. Prepare and administer contrast media where required, in accordance with departmental protocols and under appropriate clinical supervision. Ensure images are correctly processed, labelled and uploaded to the PACS/RIS system for reporting. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs in line with hospital governance and Qatar regulatory requirements. Participate in quality assurance, equipment calibration checks and infection control procedures. Liaise closely with radiologists, referring clinicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Contribute to an on-call/rotational shift pattern as required by departmental needs, including [weekends/nights/public holidays]. Support the training and supervision of junior radiographers or students where required.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Radiography / Diagnostic Radiography / Medical Imaging. Minimum of [2–3] years' post-qualification experience as a practising Radiographer. Current registration/licence in country of origin (e.g. HCPC, CORU, ARRT, AHPRA or equivalent). Eligible for licensure with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) — Ministry of Public Health, Qatar. Proven competence in general radiography; experience in [CT / MRI / mammography / theatre imaging] an advantage. Strong knowledge of radiation safety, infection control and patient care standards. Good command of spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage but not essential. Willingness to relocate to Qatar and undertake all visa, medical and licensing formalities.

Desirable

Experience working in a GCC or Middle Eastern healthcare setting. Cross-sectional imaging experience (CT/MRI) or specialist certification. BLS/ACLS certification.
