Job summary

Swan Global is seeking highly experienced Quantity Surveyors for ongoing TA/SD projects at Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC), Qatar. Positions require strong technical and planning capabilities with immediate start for two roles and additional hires by 30 October.

The 4-month contract may extend based on project needs and performance. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Engineering and have at least 10 years as a Quantity Surveyor in oil & gas, including 5 years in TA/SD.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• - 10+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Oil & Gas.
• - 5+ years of TA/SD project experience.
• - Hands-on experience with MS Project or Primavera (P6).
• - Strong SAP PM knowledge.
• - Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• - Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and progress measurements.
• - Support technical and planning teams during TA/SD project execution.
• - Monitor project budgets, cost control, and progress reporting.
• - Coordinate with engineering, planning, and procurement for deliverables.
• - Validate and certify subcontractor and vendor invoices.
• - Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
• - Generate and maintain SAP PM documentation.
• - Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review.

Job Description:

We are seeking highly experienced Quantity Surveyors Technical Services to join our team for an ongoing project at Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC). The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in Turnaround (TA) and Shutdown (SD) projects, with strong technical and planning expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and progress measurements.

Support technical and planning teams during TA/SD project execution.

Monitor project budgets, cost control, and progress reporting.

Coordinate with engineering, planning, and procurement departments for project deliverables.

Validate and certify subcontractor and vendor invoices.

Manage variations, claims, and final account settlement.

Generate and maintain documentation in SAP (PM Module).

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Oil & Gas industry.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Turnaround (TA) and Shutdown (SD) projects.

Hands-on experience with MS Project or Primavera (P6).

Strong proficiency in SAP, particularly Project Management (PM) Module.

Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Additional Information:

Candidates must be available to join immediately for the first two positions.

Remaining candidates should be available by 30th October.

Contract duration is 4 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
