Job summary

A global recruitment firm seeks a QA/QC Engineer to maintain quality standards in Qatar. The role involves ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, conducting inspections, and coordinating with vendors and clients. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in QA/QC engineering, particularly in oil & gas. You will lead and mentor junior staff while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in QA/QC engineering, preferably in oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001:2015, ASME, ASTM.
• Preferred certifications: ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures per ISO 9001:2015.
• Conduct inspections and review Material Test Certificates.
• Identify and resolve non-conformities and perform root cause analysis.
