Job summary

Savile Lloyd is seeking a QA Manager based in Qatar to lead the on-site quality assurance for landmark building and infrastructure projects. You will establish comprehensive QA plans and procedures, enforce QA systems across main subcontractors, and drive regular audits while coordinating with the client’s team.

The ideal candidate has over 15 years' engineering experience, at least 5 years as QA/QC Manager on large-scale projects with tier-one contractors, and fluent English; Middle East

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience as a qualified Engineer.
• Minimum 5+ years experience as a QA/QC Manager on large-scale projects with a tier-one main contractor.
• Fluency in English – Written + Spoken.
• Middle East experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up a Quality Assurance Plan/Procedures for projects.
• Enforce the QA system on main subcontractors on site.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of QA/QC processes.
• Lead the on-site QA/QC team and coordinate with the client’s team.
• Ensure QA/QC matters are integrated with project delivery goals.

Job description

Our client, a leading local contractor who has an outstanding reputation for success and who has worked on some of the most prestigious large scale building and infrastructure projects in the UAE and Gulf region is currently seeking a QA Manager to join them based in Qatar.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing a Quality Assurance programme at project level for large scale landmark building projects which includes major high rise and airport schemes. Duties will include setting up of a Quality Assurance Plan/Procedures, enforcing the QA System on main subcontractors, conducting regular audits, leading the QA/QC team on site and coordinating QA/QC matters with the client's team.

You will have:

• Degree qualified
• Minimum of 15+ years experience as a qualified Engineer, with a minimum of 5 + years experience as a QA/QC Manager on large scale projects with a tier one main contractor.
• Fluency in English - Written + Spoken
• Previous Middle East experience is preferred but not essential.
