Woopel in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Psychiatrist to deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient mental health services for patients of all ages. The role involves assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and creating individualized treatment plans including psychotherapy or medication management.

The candidate should have a Doctorate in Medicine, 3+ years of psychiatry experience, board certification or eligibility, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent qualification with psychiatry specialization
• Minimum three years of clinical psychiatry experience
• Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledgeable about the latest psychiatric treatments and medications

Responsabilités

• Assess patients’ mental health needs through interviews, physical exams, laboratory tests and assessments.
• Provide individualized treatment plans which may include psychotherapy or medication management.
• Provide crisis counseling services when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of patient visits, treatments, and progress toward recovery goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.
• Stay up-to-date on psychiatry advances through continuing professional development.
