Job summary

GALFAR ALMISNAD & ENGINEERIENG-I seeks a senior professional to lead oil and gas refinery shutdown projects in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering large-scale RFCC shutdowns within EPC brownfield settings, ensuring safety, quality and timely handover.

The role requires extensive experience in project execution, cost control and contract management, with a strong emphasis on HSE and commissioning readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
• Minimum 20 years of Oil & Gas refinery turnaround experience.
• Significant RFCC shutdown experience and large EPC shutdown/brownfield project management.
• Strong knowledge of project execution planning, cost control, contracts, HSE, quality and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for shutdown execution performance, delivery and schedule adherence.
• Lead project planning, execution monitoring and close-out activities.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, manpower and resources.
• Coordinate with client, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and internal departments.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions; lead project meetings and provide progress reports.
