Job summary

A global professional services firm in Qatar is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Sewerage Treatment to lead complex wastewater infrastructure projects. Ideal candidates should have over 18 years of project management experience in sewerage treatment or wet utilities, with strong knowledge of Qatar's regulatory standards and excellent leadership skills. This role involves overseeing all project phases and ensuring compliance with local environmental safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 18 years of experience in sewerage treatment or wet utilities project management.
• At least 2 years of experience managing complex infrastructure and master planning projects involving foul sewer, TSE, and SGW.
• Demonstrated experience in managing at least two national or regional masterplans.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), Ashghal standards, and local permitting processes.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of sewerage treatment projects, including feasibility, design, permitting, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage complex infrastructure and master planning projects involving foul sewer, TSE (Treated Sewage Effluent), and SGW (Surface and Ground Water) systems.
• Coordinate with Ashghal, local municipalities, and environmental agencies to ensure compliance with Qatar’s regulatory frameworks.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
• Engage with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor environmental impact and ensure adherence to Qatar’s sustainability and safety standards.

About the Role
